A mugshot is a photograph of a criminal taken after his arrest. They often appear in the media in order to notify about a long-awaited arrest or, conversely, in order to warn the population about a dangerous offender. Most often these are ordinary crime reports with ordinary people, but sometimes celebrities can be among them.
