Futuristic residential complex "Abraxas", where "The Hunger Games" was filmed (3 photos)

Spanish architect Ricardo Bofilla built it in 1983. There are 600 apartments inside three buildings – “Theater”, “Arch” and “Palace”. Bofill developed a system of prefabricated panels and blocks and used repeating elements inspired by classical architecture to achieve savings in materials. Then the project was recognized as a “mistake”, so they did not develop it further. And in 2014, the residential complex became the setting for The Hunger Games.
