An engineer using a special application turned the cleaning process into a game
An engineer of virtual and augmented reality systems made an application that shows which areas of the room you have not yet cleaned.
Social network user X Daniel Beauchamp, who works as an AR/VR systems engineer, posted a video in which he showed the gamification of the house cleaning process using an augmented reality system. The app, apparently developed for Oculus Quest VR headsets, determines what is and isn't a floor and applies a green color to the as-yet-untreated areas. Then, using a VR controller attached to the vacuum cleaner (according to the author of the development, using masking tape), the application monitors the movement of its nozzle and erases the green virtual fill from the already treated areas.
Augmented reality is a technology that allows virtual objects to be displayed on top of the real world.
Another variation of the gamification of the cleaning process from the author. This time with coins.
