In the USA, police arrested a “fish bandit” (5 photos)

In the United States, police detained an eccentric who glued fish to ATMs and more.





In Provo, Utah, an unnamed 17-year-old boy used duct tape to stick raw fish to ATM machines and once stuck three fish to the window of a police car.



The teenager documented his antics using a social media account he called fish_bandit84. The description of the profile with photos of glued fish says: “Live, laugh, glue fish to ATMs. No fish were harmed in the process.”





From August to October, the young man committed about a dozen “fish crimes.” The strange crimes surprised the police, but they were able to identify and arrest the “bandit.” The teenager was put on trial and found guilty of vandalism and property damage.



The main reason for the investigation was that cleaning ATMs of fish cost money. Law enforcement officers were unable to find out where the young man got the fish from.
