It looks like Thailand is becoming the birthplace of Russian lawlessness. Almost every day, Russian citizens end up in crime reports there. And here's another incident.
The other day in Phuket, the Russians decided to play football. The teams were assembled through Russian-language chats - that is, most of the people did not know each other. During the match, one of the players overreacted to an opponent's foul and broke his jaw with one blow. After which he hastily left the football field.
As it turned out later, the attacker not only plays football, but also practices martial arts.
The victim was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery, fixing the bones with a plate. Medicine in Thailand is not a cheap pleasure. The patient was billed a thousand dollars.
“After this, it will take another month and a half to learn how to chew solid food again, because in a month the body will lose the habit. The broken bones in one place are connected by a plate with bolts, in the second it was impossible to do this, the area is too complex and thin,” said the victim’s wife.
After the incident, the victim’s wife filed a complaint with the local police, who have already taken up the investigation, but have not yet found a suspect. The woman also contacted the Russian consulate.
“A protocol was drawn up, and they even went to see the scene of the incident. Today I plan to bring them a medical report and a receipt for the cost of treatment,” she said.
