Turbo Granny managed to survive an illness, a bacterial infection, and travel half the world with a new concert program. 
In June, Madonna was hospitalized with a bacterial infection. Then the artist was immediately placed in the intensive care unit, and she spent some time under a ventilator. Two weeks later, Madonna was already walking around New York, hand in hand with her friend, and a month later she was dancing in front of the camera, celebrating the 40th anniversary of her debut album.
This was the beginning of advertising for her concerts. Madonna visited many major cities in Europe and America during a tour dedicated to the singer's 40th anniversary on stage. As expected, the show was full of shocking and debauchery. Vulgar dances performed by a 65-year-old grandmother look, to put it mildly, strange.
At a concert in New York, Madonna opened up with fans and talked about how she spent two days in a coma. The singer's words are quoted by People.
I passed out on the bathroom floor and woke up in the ICU. And my friend saved my life. “Thank you, Shavon,” Madonna said from the stage, and said that she spent 48 hours in an induced coma.
Madonna woke up surrounded by children.
“I almost had to die to get them together,” she joked.
