A Russian military aircraft Il-76 crashed in the Belgorod region.
At the same time, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced “an incident in the Korochansky district.”
“Currently, an investigation team and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot. I changed my work schedule and went to the area. All the details will come later,” he added.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that there were Ukrainian prisoners on board the plane who were being taken out for exchange.
