TOP 20 most sticky songs according to researchers (20 photos)
In Scotland, a group of researchers from the University of St. Andrews have come up with a formula that determines the most catchy songs. They identified 5 main criteria: rhythmic repetition of each song, melodic power, predictability, surprise and perceptibility. This makes up a super hit that will be hummed by the entire planet. As a result, they managed to compile the TOP 20 such songs. Let's see which ones exactly. By the way, which songs do you personally consider the most annoying?
It is worth noting that in order to reduce the sample size, the research team identified exactly those songs that became big hits, were actively played on the radio and took high places in various charts.
