On January 11, a cat named Twix got off the Ekaterinburg-St. Petersburg train without his will. He was traveling with his owner after surgery, but ran out of his carrier. The conductor considered the animal ownerless and threw it away during a stop in Kirov.
Transport police reported that the cat was traveling with a relative of the owner, and special documents for transportation were issued.
On the train, the cat got out of its carrier and began to walk around the carriage. Passengers complained to the conductor about him. She decided to release him on the platform in Kirov.
They have been looking for the cat since the 11th, but so far without success. There is a rumor that some woman picked him up. Otherwise, he will not survive in 30-degree frost.
