Driver ejected from exploding car

A resident of the city of Huludao (Liaoning Province, China) miraculously survived when his car exploded on January 6 on a busy highway.

According to local information sources, the car caught fire while driving. The driver managed to leave the burning car and was not injured.

Firefighters who arrived a little later extinguished the remains of the car.

According to police, the gas tank fire and explosion most likely occurred while the vehicle was being switched from gasoline to gas.
