From 60 to 85. It is within these limits that the heart rate is normal for a healthy adult. But there are people who are not happy with this arrangement.

A young active man, Cameron Johnson, claims that he now has the slowest heart rate on the planet. The real record belongs to a British pensioner and was recorded by doctors at 26 beats per minute.

Cameron insists he was not shown 4 strokes short. Such indicators, as a Newcastle resident told the Daily Mail, were recorded by a medical tracker 7 years ago.

At the same time, the young ecologist is completely healthy and enjoys running and cycling, and loves playing football and badminton. The only side effect of the condition is occasional headaches.

The cardiologist officially recorded his heart rate in the low 30s during an EKG done several years ago. But alarm bells only rang last July, when a therapist took Johnson's pulse.

Doctors decided to conduct a long-term study, connecting the guy to an ECG machine for a day. As a result, we got the results - the heart rate varied from 22 (at night) to 30 beats per minute.

As already noted, for a person aged 16 to 60 years, indicators from 60 to 85 beats are considered normal. Maximum up to 100, if you take into account the level of physical activity, sports and active loads. But if the indicators are lower, then we are already talking about bradycardia (from the Greek “bradis” - “slow” and “cardia” - “heart”). In medicine, this condition is characterized by a slowing of the heart rate to less than 60 beats per minute in adults who are not trained athletes, or less than 100-60 in children and adolescents, depending on age. May indicate diseases of the heart muscle and extracardiac pathologies.

Cameron decided to use his special fortune and break the record of current record holder Daniel Green.

To officially enter his unusual record into the Book, he will need to spend a day connected to an ECG machine, which will be monitored by two representatives of the Guinness publication.

Its official number will be equal to the average of the three lowest heart rates per day. In addition, you will need an extensive list of documentation, videos and a number of other evidence.

Have you measured your heart rate lately? Have there been any strange indicators - too high or low?
