The Atlas World Voyager cruise ship was crossing the Drake Passage, where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans meet between the southernmost tip of South America and Antarctica, when it was caught in a devastating storm.
One of the tourists at the very beginning of December last year captured the moment when waves, the height of which reached 30 meters, hit the ship.
Tables, chairs, lounge chairs and other items were seen floating on the flooded deck.
