It is designed for 2,620 passengers, 1,253 crew members and maintenance personnel. About 3,000 people took part in its construction and about 8 million labor hours were spent. The cost of the ship is 900 million dollars. Every year, the ship consumes 1.5 million drinks, 230,000 bottles of wine, 25 tons of coffee, 7,000 boxes of strawberries, 17 tons of smoked salmon, 90 tons of pineapples, and enough beef to easily feed a small town for a year. There are also 3,000 telephones on the ship.
