The leader of the leading opposition Toburo Democratic Party of South Korea, Lee Jae-myung, was wounded by an unknown assailant during a trip to Busan. The attacker stabbed the politician in the neck during a press conference. 
The leader of a South Korean opposition party was attacked during a press conference. When Lee Zhe Myung was answering questions from journalists, an unknown person stabbed the politician in the neck with a knife.
According to Yonhap, the politician was shot in the neck during a press conference. Lee Jae Myung came to Busan to visit the construction site of the new airport.
The attacker was detained at the scene, and the victim was sent to the hospital. At the time of transportation, he remained conscious; now nothing is reported about his well-being.
For reference: Lee Jae-myung is the chairman of the main opposition party, in 2022 he ran for the presidency of South Korea, gaining 47.83% of the vote. But he lost to Yun Seok Yeol. After which he criticized him more than once and called him incompetent.
