Woman was late for work because of 600 kg intruder
A Tasmanian woman woke up this morning to strange sounds. The woman felt as if someone was trying to break into her car. She looked out into the yard and found a southern elephant seal blocking her car.
Early in the morning, Amber Harris woke up from strange sounds - as if someone was trying to open her car.
Looking out into the yard, a resident of Tasmania (Australia) realized that there was no crime going on, but there were clearly problems ahead with her commute to work. The fact is that a 600-kilogram southern elephant seal was nestled next to the woman’s car.
The animal did not want to go anywhere, so Amber had to call her boss and warn her that she would be delayed, although it was not her fault. By the way, a little later the animal left safely.
The animal received the nickname Neil from local residents. It appears in the city every now and then, exploring the surrounding area. Marine conservation officials even tagged it with a beacon to track its movements.
