The man who came running to help was not taken aback and instantly grabbed the guy with his arms, using the Heimlich maneuver. And a few seconds later the young man was saved by spitting out the chips that almost killed him. The owner of the computer club said that he was proud of his employee and had already given him bonuses.
"The employee's name is Denis, he studied to be a rescuer. He was on shift. We were lucky, because we no longer have former rescuers among our employees. We gave the employee a bonus. I am very proud that we have such an employee who helped a person. We as a whole We select responsive people. And of course, it’s very cool that he works for us. In general, we don’t encourage eating chips at the computer, because crumbs fall into the keyboard, that’s why we don’t sell chips,” said the head of the establishment, Alexey.
The hero of the video told reporters that he had never used the Heimlich maneuver before, but this was not the first time he had saved people.
“I had never had the opportunity to perform this technique before. But I studied for four years in college to become a rescuer, by education I am a rescue technician. This is a profession that I have been pursuing since childhood, but life has turned out so that I work in a computer club. I and saved people before. I put out a fire when I was studying, and as a child I saved a friend when he began to drown. That’s how my life turned out. I wasn’t scared, I have critical thinking. In such a situation, I imagine what I need to do and what is required of me. I saw that the girl was calling me, saying that the guy was feeling bad, I ran up. No medical help was needed, they didn’t call an ambulance. Then I asked him if everything was okay, they gave him water, and that’s it has stabilized,” said the rescue administrator.
It is reported that the visitor who nearly suffocated continued to play CS:GO after the incident.
