A new 115-meter bridge was opened in Irpen instead of the one that was blown up

The bridge over the Irpen River in Romanovka was blown up at the beginning of a full-scale invasion, then people evacuated on foot through the icy water. Now the destroyed structures will become a memorial.

In 2022, thanks to the explosion of the bridge, 40 thousand residents of the Kiev region were saved.
