Ambulance doctors got into a fight with a patient and his relatives in Russia

According to preliminary information, the man tried to commit suicide; the arriving team of doctors provided him with first aid and was going to take the victim to a narcology clinic. However, this development of events did not suit the man; he began to behave aggressively and attacked the doctors.

Residents of a house on Gagarin Street in the Leninsky district of Chelyabinsk on November 20 called an ambulance. The man was wounded and was bleeding. As the doctors found out, he inflicted them on himself - he tried to commit suicide.

“The patient was in a dangerous condition and could cause harm to himself and others, so the ambulance officer was forced to restrain him and hold him in order to provide the necessary assistance,” the regional Ministry of Health provided details.

Either the man was under the influence of tranquilizers, or he was naturally strong, but he actively prevented the doctors from providing him with first aid. In order to administer the necessary medicine to him, he had to be fixed.

Relatives recorded this process on video. From the outside it looks wild. At some point, the relatives began to attack the doctors, even fighting with them. The scream was terrible and obscene language flowed fiercely.

When the doctors realized that they could not cope with this family on their own, they called the Russian Guard and the police with a “panic button”. 12 minutes later reinforcements arrived. The relatives did not want to let the crews into the apartment. In the end, we agreed. The main thing is that the patient received full assistance and was hospitalized.

Later, when the passions had subsided, the ambulance doctors wrote a statement at the local police station “for obstructing the work of the emergency service” and threatening to attack the brigade.
