A fireman was arrested while putting out a fire that he himself started (3 photos)
That case when you really want to become a hero, but nothing heroic happens nearby. You have to get out of it anyway you can.
Once upon a time there lived a 35-year-old American, Joseph Halder, who dreamed of becoming a firefighter since childhood and became one on a voluntary basis, that is, he was not paid a salary. And what does money have to do with it when you work according to the will of your heart. Romance! You can save a girl or some animal from a fire. But the trouble is, in his hometown of Whitefish, fires were rare and Halder decided to correct this unfortunate misunderstanding.
He selected abandoned buildings, slowly set them on fire, and then heroically extinguished them and, to his credit, quite successfully. But this whole celebration of life was brazenly ended by County Sheriff Mike Bitnar. He decided to review the gas station's surveillance cameras while the town's fire department was once again putting out a fire in a vacant building in the business district.
And Joseph suddenly appeared on the recording, setting this building on fire with his own hands. He was arrested right while putting out the fire. Now the pyromaniac firefighter faces up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
