When it comes to food, our expectations don't always match reality. However, in Japan this happens extremely rarely. The size and shape of many products there strictly correspond to the images on the packaging.
Netizens attribute this to Japanese law. According to them, product manufacturers in Japan are required to replicate the exact image on packaging at a 1:1 scale.
