The Chinese showed their flagship SUV Tank 700 (7 photos)
The official premiere of this hybrid SUV is scheduled for November 17 at the Guangzhou Motor Show, but local media managed to get acquainted with the car and take photos ahead of time. 
The new product is not at all similar to the “tanks” on sale with indexes 300 and 500: the design style of the SUV is closer to the purely Chinese Tank 400. The flagship is distinguished by a massive front bumper with huge air ducts, a “nostril” on the hood, angular, deliberately swollen wheel arches and a slightly sloping line roof, on which two aerodynamic elements are installed at once: a spoiler at the front and a wing at the rear.
The stern was decorated with a giant diffuser, and the hinged fifth door carries a spare wheel cover. The wheels themselves are 22 inches. In general, the appearance of the Tank 700 is vaguely reminiscent of the design of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 as presented by the Mansory studio. At the same time, the new product is larger than both the Gelendvagen and the Tank 500: with a length of 5113 millimeters, the SUV has a three-meter wheelbase.
The Tank 700 Hi4-T will go on sale with two engines at once - a 3-liter V6 and an electric motor, which together will provide 517 hp. With. and 750 Nm. Thus, the new product will be the first “Tank”, whose hybrid installation is based on a V6 - the Tank 500 with the same index uses a 2-liter turbo-four. The “seven hundredth” has an already certified pure gasoline modification with a 360-horsepower six and a 9-speed automatic, but it has not yet appeared on sale. According to one version, it will be exported, and on the domestic market Tank will only offer a hybrid SUV.
