A schoolboy from Bashkiria saved a five-year-old girl drowning in a lake

In the village of Tashkinovo, near Neftekamsk, a tragedy almost occurred: a five-year-old girl almost drowned in the lake. Fortunately, the child was saved by the brave seventh grader Yaroslav Yulamanov.

The boy remembers how he was sitting on the pier with friends when he suddenly heard a loud splash. Looking back, he saw a child’s hat in the water, and next to it a girl who was already going under the water. Without thinking for a second, Yaroslav rushed to the rescue. The teenager undressed and dived into the icy water. According to him, he never hesitated, he was only afraid of not being in time.

It turned out that the girl was walking with a friend. The kids were picking at the swamp with a stick, but it fell and a 5-year-old girl wanted to get it, but couldn’t and ended up in the water.

The parents of the injured child contacted the young hero and thanked him by giving him money. Soon the entire neighborhood already knew about Yaroslav’s action.
