“According to preliminary information, at 09-55 hours, a 46-year-old driver, driving a Renault Logan car, opposite 71/11 on M. Eremenko Street, when turning, hit a 74-year-old pensioner who was crossing the roadway along a controlled pedestrian crossing and was on a traffic island. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was taken to a medical facility," the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Volgograd region reported.
