We all know that Australia is dangerous with its spiders and snakes. But let's forget about the kangaroo. A dog was nearly drowned by a vicious marsupial this week. A local resident had to fight to save his pet.

In the video, titled "Martial arts for everyone, even kangaroos," the marsupial holds a dog in the water.

Rushing to save the pet, the man shouts: “I’ll break your head in now. Let go of my dog.”

The kangaroo then lunges at the man before the video ends. There is a struggle, after which the formidable beast reappears on the screen, but the dog is already free.

The video was shared by thousands of people on social media, shocked by how human-like and muscular the kangaroo looked.

The animal's physique reminded users of Schwarzenegger among the kangaroos, Roger, who died at the age of 12 in 2018.

Roger, who was 200cm tall, became an internet sensation in 2015 when photographs emerged of his impressive biceps, prominent veins and sculpted chest.

This is not the first time that completely peaceful animals become aggressive and cause harm to people.

Just a few weeks ago, another angry Roo attacked a farmer in Victoria, dragging him off his bike.

Brian O'Donnell, 74, was riding his Honda motorcycle across the property to check on a cow that was about to calve when he noticed the marsupial following him.

According to the pensioner, the kangaroo grabbed his head and tore his clothes, leaving scratches on his neck and back.

In yet another shocking video taken at Perth Zoo in June this year, an American tourist grabs a kangaroo by the throat after it kicks and scratches him.

The marsupial did not stop until the zookeeper intervened.

Kangaroos seem to pester dogs a lot. So, in 2016, a dog owner was forced to hit Roo when he grabbed his pet.

In May last year, an Australian got into a fight with a marsupial in order to take his pets away from him.

A fight broke out in the yard of a man’s house, where he ran after hearing dogs howling. At the end of the fight, both fighters looked worse than ever.

The last fatal kangaroo attack occurred in 2022. Police believe it was a wild animal less than 12 months old that was being kept as a pet.

There had been no fatalities in Australia since 1936, when 38-year-old hunter William Cruickshank tried to save his two dogs from kangaroos at Hillstone in western NSW.
