The bear stole a pack of marmalade from the store
A black bear walked into a gas station store in Canada. The predator walked around the outlet and picked up a package of gummy bears.
A surveillance camera captured an unusual shoplifter at a gas station in British Columbia, Canada. A black bear was filmed walking into a store early Monday morning, walking through a rack of candy bars, picking up a package of gummy bears and leaving without paying.
The store owner said "Mr. Bear" then went out into the parking lot and immediately ate all the gummy bears. At the time of the robbery, the man was calmly drinking coffee behind the counter. According to him, the bear did not show any aggression, but the daring theft undoubtedly made an impression on the owners.
According to the BC Conservation Service, there have been a high number of bear complaints this year, mostly black bears. Experts say that the reasons for this increase are, among other things, the influence of weather conditions on food for the bears, which has become less abundant.
