In early October 2023, Allur announced the signing of an agreement with the Volkswagen Group to return the Škoda brand to the Kazakh market with localization of production in Kostanay. The line of localized cars of the Czech brand will consist of five models.
Now the company has lifted the veil of secrecy over the brand’s model line in the country. It is expected that in the near future it will be possible to purchase Kamiq, Karoq and Kodiaq crossovers, as well as Octavia and Superb liftbacks in car dealerships.
It is possible that the last two models will also be offered in the Combi version. It is worth noting that Superb is about to experience a generational change - the premiere of the fourth generation is expected in November 2023.
In addition, Allur shared information about the timing of receiving the first batch of machine kits to begin setting up the conveyor in Kostanay. - “We received all the input on the requirements for the quality of processes. Our operational capabilities fully coincide with the expectations of our partners, which significantly shortens the process of launching joint work. At the same time, we participated in the process of packaging and disassembling machine kits into containers. According to the official message from Škoda, the assembly of cars of the Czech brand in Kazakhstan will start at the beginning of 2024. The company plans to open 15 brand showrooms in the country within a year.
