A wildlife enthusiast set up a camera trap in the Angeles National Forest and captured a nighttime confrontation between a male cougar and a skunk.
The tailed beast, considered the stinkiest in the world, was not afraid of the feline predator and rushed at him.
The mountain lion did not aggravate the already tense situation and retreated away from the animal emitting unpleasant odors.
It is noteworthy that the skunk also tried to attack an unfamiliar object, which captured the night's confrontation.
