Ural Airlines announced its decision to take off an Airbus plane from a wheat field. The passenger airliner has been there since September 12 after an emergency landing.





In its Telegram channel, the airline announced that the plane will remain on the field until transportation. This may take several months, so storage work must be carried out on the aircraft.

A fence is currently being installed around the aircraft. The liner is under the supervision of a security company around the clock. Warm temporary huts have already been installed in the field for security officers.

For a stable position on the ground, wooden platforms were prepared, on which the liner was installed.



The airline will not repair engines. Baroscopy studies showed that everything was fine with them. The flow part of the engines has already been cleared of soil and straw. An in-depth examination of the aircraft's structure is currently underway.

After the emergency landing, only the voice and parametric recorders were removed from the aircraft. The inflatable slides were sent to Yekaterinburg to the aviation technical center; after they are serviced, they will be installed back on board.

Several options for taking off the aircraft from the field are being considered. The airline is awaiting delivery of the lifts to conduct landing gear testing, component testing and additional aircraft design studies. The plan also includes dismantling the seats to make the aircraft lighter.

Earlier, the head of the Ubinsky district of the Novosibirsk region, Oleg Konyuk, said that the plane could be lifted into the air by accelerating over frozen ground.



Let us recall that on September 12, an Airbus A320 of the Ural Airlines company, flying from Sochi to Omsk, made an emergency landing in a field before reaching the Novosibirsk Tolmachevo airport.

Shortly before landing, the crew sounded an alarm due to a hydraulic system failure. The airliner changed course and headed towards Novosibirsk. Due to increased fuel consumption caused by the opening of the landing gear, the crew of the aircraft was forced to land in a wheat field in the Novosibirsk region.

Passengers and crew members (there were 165 people on board) were not injured and left the ship on their own along the ladders.
