He hit his grandmother and fled the scene of the accident

On September 20, on 14 December Street in Uzlovaya, Tula Region, a man born in 1977, while driving a Nissan Zhuk, hit an 82-year-old pensioner who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of the accident, a retired pedestrian was injured. She received various injuries and was hospitalized in a medical facility. The driver fled the scene of the accident.

In Uzlovaya, law enforcement officers detained the driver of a Nissan Juke, who hit a pensioner at a pedestrian crossing. This was reported by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Tula Region.

It is noted that the man left the scene of the accident, however, he was found by State Traffic Inspectorate officers as soon as possible. In addition, it was established that at the time of the accident the driver was intoxicated (1.258 mg/l).

In relation to the man, protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up under the first part of Article 12.8 and under the second part of Article 12.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The materials will be submitted to the court for a decision.
