Operation to move the swamp island on boats in the United States - video
Local residents whose houses are located on the coast of Lake Chippewa (Wisconsin, USA) are forced to move a swampy island blocking traffic on the bridge using motor boats.
The fertile soil became an ideal habitat for plants and animals, and soon an entire ecosystem began to thrive in the swamp.
Property owners have to join forces to move the floating island away from the bridge, which is the only crossing between the east and west sides of the channel.
According to the participants in the operation to move the swampy piece of land, stones and a shallow prevented the removal of the island to a greater distance, and therefore, in a few days, local residents will again have to move it away from the crossing.
