A woman installed a camera on the feeder to see the guests of her yard (71 photos)
Michigan resident Lisa Ostdrosel installed in her garden feeders with cameras and now documents the visits of birds and animals. "Every day is a new opportunity to capture something special, even here, in my yard, where I seem to have seen almost everything," shares photographer.
Liza enjoys watching the behavior and character of our smaller brothers.
"When I first saw the sunbathing birds, I was frightened. In hot days, birds take sunbaths to help their the body to cope with the heat, as well as for skin care, getting rid of parasites, etc. I have already seen several birds do this, but more often all - blue jays. They fall to the ground, spread their wings, open their beak and look like they are melting or starting to fit. After a while they just get up and go back to normal condition," the American said.

A woman shared her observations about the impact of a person on nature and the world around us: "I think this summer is a perfect example of that. For several years now, I have seen fewer and fewer hummingbirds on my plot. Perhaps this year it is related to the wildfires in Canada, we also felt their effects in the form of smog and bad air. A few years ago, I think, the severe frost in Texas affected. My yard is just a small area and I do my best, but the birds are migrating, so it requires a collaborative effort. Organizations such as Audubon or Cornell, share information on how to help birds during migration, but I think we all need to get rid of the feeling that "this is not happening to me or my influence is not very great, so I can do nothing." Photos or videos and a short story can ignite us desire and enthusiasm to do more. This is partly why I do this."

"I want to make different designs for colder times of the year. Looking forward to seeing the flying squirrel again and maybe owl. I hope someday I will have the opportunity to explore with camera wild places".
