On July 18, Everett Kalin became the oldest person climbing the picturesque Half Dome in Yosemite National park. With the help of his loving family, he made what seemed to be impossible.

Everett Kalin is a daredevil who is not afraid to try new things and achieve incredible heights. So, at 91, he first jumped with a parachute. However however, he does not consider himself a thrill-seeker.

Climbing Half Dome is not an easy task. hike takes 10-12 hours and ranges from 22 to 26 km in both directions. And all this is with a backpack with supplies. But Everett, a retired divinity professor, not afraid of this test. The man has been preparing for several months: daily walks around Lake Merritt, as well as climbing stairs to 17th floor.

The 93-year-old man was accompanied by his son John and granddaughter Sydney. They carried heavy supplies, with Everett carrying a bottle of water on his back.
