87-year-old grandma made her first paragliding flight
Who said that age is an obstacle to the realization of your cherished dreams?
It all started with the fact that Madame Tang came just to support her 50-year-old daughter with her husband. They decided to fly, but my daughter was very worried and afraid. So the grandmother decided to prove to her daughter that it was not scary to fly, and after all, she successfully proved, while her relatives were worried, how she would land with sore knees.
Pilot Chris Lammert was surprised to note that Granny was very calm, unlike his younger clients. During his long practice, the oldest client was his aunt, who at the time of the flight was 71 years old. Madame Tang broke this record with ease.
“Since the company started operations in 2014 in Ranau, we can say that 80 percent of the clients paragliding in tandem with us are women, 10 percent children and 10 percent men,” said the pilot.
