A humble American citizen hit the jackpot - won $1.08 billion in the Powerball lottery. He bought a ticket along the way, when walked through the market in Los Angeles. 
Now he can get $ 558.1 million immediately or "smash" prize for 30 annual payments. In America, lottery winnings are taxed taxed at 37%, plus there are additional charges depending on the state. But there are no additional taxes in California.
