As a result of the accident, the 47-year-old Volkswagen driver died at the scene. The 36-year-old driver of Lexus and its 9-year-old passenger, who at the time of the accident was sitting in the back without a child seat, the 52-year-old Renault driver and two of his passengers, as well as the 49-year-old passenger of Volkswagen, were injured.
