Taxidermist makes piggy banks from dead piglets (7 photos + 1 video)
A resident of the United States makes piggy banks from dead piglets. Fortunately, for the sake of this case, she does not have to kill live pigs.
Until recently, Rachel Lewis worked as a hairdresser, but at some point she was fascinated by her husband's hunting hobby.
The husband sometimes leaves the skulls of dead animals as souvenirs, making this one both for yourself and for friends. Rachel started to help her husband clean the skulls and was so imbued that after a while I went to a taxidermy course. The mother of the family from Arizona (USA) started make classic stuffed animals, but soon found a "gold mine".
She came up with the idea to make a piggy bank out of a real dead pig. The craft turned out so cute that bought a piggy bank for $750.
So, now Rachel has her own business for production and sale of unusual piggy banks. The cost varies from 350 dollars to 750 dollars.
Rachel understands that her occupation may seem to someone strange and even disgusting. But her business is by no means consider cruel. The craftswoman does not kill the unfortunate pigs at all, but buys stillborn cubs from nearby farms.
In addition to piglets, she also works with other animals.
