A chimpanzee first saw the sky and the sun after spending 28 years in a New York City research lab. All these years the monkey lived in a small cage.
A chimpanzee named Vanilla saw the sky and the sun for the first time in 28 years. All these years she spent in a research laboratory in New York, where the animals were kept in small cages.
Together with another "prisoner" of the laboratory named Shake, they were warmly welcomed by relatives in a special reserve in Florida.
