The largest hailstones bombarded the cities of Shamrock and Sanger. Local residents took many photos and videos of an extraordinary phenomenon - on The pictures show how the hailstones barely fit in the palms of adults. 
“I used my iPhone SE as a ruler - it has 14 cm long, and the ball was almost the same length, ”said one from eyewitnesses.
The supercell responsible for the powerful hail probably had updrafts, the speed of which exceeded 150 km/ h. Estimated specialists, it is precisely this wind speed that is necessary to keep hailstone larger than 10 cm. Frozen ice balls can fall from speed of at least 120 km/ h, writes Fox Weather.
