According to the press service of the traffic police, the car accident happened on June 17 between Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk on the 699th kilometer of the federal highway R-255 "Siberia" at about 21:00.
As it turned out, a 44-year-old driver from the Omsk region, driving a Scania car, was moving from Achinsk towards the regional capital. While driving, the motorist drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Sitrak truck moving in the opposite direction, driven by a 37-year-old resident of Novosibirsk.
As a result of the collision of trucks, the driver of the second heavy truck was injured, he was provided with medical assistance on the spot. The truck driver, who drove into the oncoming lane, turned out to be drunk - the device set 0.92 mg / l of exhaled air.
