Lexus GX SUV will change generation for the first time in 13 years contrary to rumors that the company plans to abandon it altogether. Judging by the teaser, the exterior of the GX is waiting for radical changes. The appearance of the car will become more angular in the spirit of the Ford Bronco and Land Rover Defender, there will be new lighting and bumpers. At the same time, deliberately emphasize designers did not use an abundance of chrome radiator grille. She kept recognizable shape, but is now completely black and has more restrained outlines.

It is assumed that the Lexus GX will be built on the GA-F platform, on which has already been based on a number of off-road innovations, including the Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX, as well as Tundra and Tacoma pickups. The choice of power plants for this platform, the concern is wide enough, so predict which engines the GX will get is still unclear. The Lexus TX is a large monocoque crossover. He will take in line of the brand a place that previously belonged to the extended version of the RX, but will become a full-fledged independent model.
