Forced BMW M5 CS turned out to be more powerful than the Ferrari F8 Tributo (4 photos)
More recently, they wrote about the BMW X5M, which was forced into German tuning studio Manhart, and today they announced a new project - BMW M5 sedan in the most powerful CS version. Stock 4.4L V8 immediately boosted up to 823 horsepower - this is more than the Ferrari F8 Tributo. The interior and suspension were also finalized, but outwardly the sedan is almost did not change.
From the factory, the BMW M5 CS engine produces 635 horsepower and 750 Nm, which allows you to accelerate to 100 km/ h in 3 seconds. The studio is not yet published neither the traction performance of the modified engine, nor changes in dynamics, but, most likely, the sedan now "leaves" from 3 seconds on acceleration, and the amount of thrust generated by the engine is close to 1000 Nm. As part of one of the previous more modest projects under called Manhart MH5 GTR engine output has already been adjusted to 935 Nm.
Atelier reports a reduction in the weight of the sedan by 70 kilograms for due to the extensive use of carbon, but where exactly are they used carbon fiber, does not specify. It is only known that Manhart replaced the regular seats with analogues on a composite frame, and rims - in-house development alternative. The suspension appeared adjustable KW springs. Finally, Manhart offers an exhaust system for the BMW M5 CS stainless steel with control valves.
In early May, Manhart shared the details of the refinement supercrossover X5 M, which is also equipped with a 4.4-liter "biturbo-eight". It turned out to be less powerful (730 hp), but the appearance of the off-road vehicle has been modified more noticeably.
