On May 10, in the metropolis of Taichung (Taiwan Island, China), a disaster occurred during the construction of another skyscraper.
According to media reports, an accident occurred in the Taichung subway with a tower crane boom falling. Some passengers on the train wondered if a metal structure had fallen onto the rails, but the locomotive did not stop and collided with an obstacle.
Later, representatives of Zhongjie said that the notification of the fall of the crane came too late and the driver did not have time to respond to it.
As a result of the incident, 10 people were injured.
The causes of the crash are under investigation.
