A strong fire in the forest area in Kurgan and the Trans-Urals forced local residents to hastily leave their homes.
According to preliminary information, 3 people have already died due to forest fires. An emergency mode has been introduced, roads have been blocked and networks have been de-energized. In connection with the critical situation, the Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov urgently flew to Kurgan.
The fire practically approached the city, the microdistricts of Glinka, Uval, Smolino, Maloye Chausovo turned out to be closest to the fire zone. Nearby villages were trapped, people were hastily evacuated.
