A curious dog stuck its head into a hole in a tree and got stuck
A dog named Gracie got sideways her curiosity, because the animal had to be rescued from a trap.
Gracie, who lives with her owners in Milford, New Hampshire, USA, became very interested in what might be hiding in a mysterious hole in a tree trunk. To solve this riddle, it was necessary to stick your head in the hole. The result was, in general, predictable, and the dog got stuck.
The firefighters who arrived to the rescue used tools to widen the hole and pull out the unfortunate Gracie's head. The animal was not hurt, but the rescuers will now have something to remember.
Mark Britton, assistant chief of the fire department, said that he and his colleagues had never encountered such a strange animal rescue case. Usually they have to pull the animals out of the water.
