A Briton with an addiction to soda completely filled up someone else's house with empty bottles and smelly garbage (6 photos + 1 video)
Former tenant with apparent soda addiction left home in such a terrible state that the property owner had to call professional "mudrakers" to take out meter-long piles empty bottles and other rubbish.
Wayne Moran and his cousin Lee Moran, co-owners ASAP Clearances, hired to clear a two-bedroom house near Wigan, Manchester. But, to their own dismay, the men realized the magnitude of the task only when they could not calmly enter through the front door and were forced to squeeze in.
The brothers had to wade through the whole house waist-deep in garbage consisting of bottles, clothing, household items and rotting products. In the living room, mountains of this "terrible-smelling" garbage were so huge that the sofa almost completely sank into it, and only the headrest was visible.
After two days of grueling work, which included four times garbage collection on a van, brothers relieved exhaled, finally seeing the floor, and went home to take a hot bath.
“The owner rented it to someone, and [when she] returned, the house was in this state,” says Wayne. - I don't know about how long was it rented out. We couldn't get in the front door, we I had to crawl inside. We had to start outside and we carried out things, passing them to each other to make room for entrance. We had to make our way through every room. [On the couch] tenant just left a small gap so that you can sit on the same same place. Garbage reached our waists - about a meter. There were many different bottles - from alcohol and soda. And typical food waste, clothing and miscellaneous household items.
Not only the living room turned out to be a dump: shocking pictures captured a kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms filled to the brim with heaps of garbage.
“The kitchen sink was littered, there was clearly no one there. washing dishes,” Wayne continued. - In the bathroom, the bathtub itself was littered clothes and food. The food was full of flies and it smelled terrible. The owner did not want even go in there and wait at the door.”
“The kitchen was in the worst condition - the floor was littered with cat food wrappers and food waste that someone trampled. It looks like there was an adult bedroom and a bedroom for children, but I don't know for sure whether children lived there or not. It was practically backbreaking work, pull it all out; it was big and very heavy Job. It took four full vans to clear the house."
Wayne said he and his brother were proud of the result and now, after a thorough cleaning, the house can be put up for sale: "This, perhaps one of the five best of our projects. We have experienced the real feeling of satisfaction from the fact that the house has become clean. It was great when the hostess came in - she was incredibly glad that she could now exhibit your house for sale. We connected her with a company that deals general cleaning, and they will do everything for her. At the end of the day it was a real relief to see the floor, and then come home and take hot bath."
