Matthew Hepworth loves to walk around with a metal detector, trying to find treasures hidden in the ground.
Recently, a resident of Morecambe (Lancashire, England), having heard the signal of the device, dug out a ring in the field, which surprised him. The golden thing with the image of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus looked quite old.
Matthew turned his find over to the authorities. The ring is believed to have been made around the 1400s.
While it is difficult to say how much it can cost, many historians have called the piece of jewelry one of the rarest in the UK.
