A worker at a seaside mining factory lost his arm due to a machine breakdown.

The man was rushed to the hospital and is now out of danger.

Yesterday morning in the workshop of the slurry pumping station of the Dalpolimetall mining plant in Dalnegorsk, due to malfunctions, a unit exploded, which seriously injured a worker who was in the immediate vicinity.


Surveillance footage shows the worker trying to prevent the accident. He reached for the car and at that moment there was a powerful explosion, with which the man's arm was torn off at the elbow.

The injured man, born in 1971, was urgently taken to the hospital and placed in intensive care, and an emergency operation was performed. Now the man's life is not in danger, he has already been transferred to a regular ward.

The causes of the accident are still unknown. Now, as part of the pre-investigation check, employees of the local prosecutor's office and the regional central office are working on the territory of the plant.
