The Chinese revealed the serial electric Volkswagen ID.7 (3 photos)
China is not the first time spoils the surprises of various automotive companies by publishing photos of new production models in their certification base before the official premiere. This time the victim officials became Volkswagen with an ID.7 electric car, which shown so far only as a concept or camouflaged prototype. 
The documents contain both pictures of the car and some Technical information. The length of the ID.7 will be 4956 mm, which makes it larger than the Passat model, and even in Chinese specification. Width and the height of the electric vehicle is 1862 and 1537 mm, and the wheelbase is 2965 mm. So far, a rear-wheel drive single-engine version has been certified in China for 204 horsepower with a battery capacity of 77 kWh.
It is noteworthy that the release of ID.7 is planned to be launched immediately on two Volkswagen joint ventures in China, and the cars will differ externally. At the moment, only the variant with local name ID.7 Vizzion manufactured by FAW-VW.
The official premiere of ID.7 should take place in April 2023.
