We know very well about the Great Pyramids, the Colosseum or the Parthenon, but there are many others in the world, not so popular, but to its impressive ancient buildings.
We never tire of being amazed at how skillfully, resourcefully and in a variety of ways people built many centuries ago, not having today's technologies. Many architectural monuments have been preserved not only in annals, in paintings or old photographs - they physically survived to today! Some even look pretty good for their age.
