“Girl, our camera is recording”: in Yekaterinburg, two gypsies could not deceive a vigilant saleswoman

Seeing the camera, the scammers hastily fled the store.

The classic and favorite swindle scheme of deception failed in one of the flower shops in Yekaterinburg. Two gypsy women asked a store employee to give change from a 1000-ruble bill, which they showed but did not give back. Caring scammers offered to give another 50 rubles so that the saleswoman would not delve into the change, but would immediately give change of 900 rubles. At the same time, a trifle was counted out and handed over to the girl, and the bill was hidden in a wallet.

But the girl failed to speak and convince that the banknote was handed over to her along with the change. She pointed to the camera and told the scammers that she was recording everything. After these words, the gypsies instantly forgot about their thousand rubles, hastily took their change and retreated.

The owner of the store shared footage from the surveillance camera with local journalists. She wrote that she did this so that other sellers would not fall for deception and remember the scammers.
